COLOR and HIGH ENERGY were themes for this editorial spread for SmallBiz... portraits of entrepreneurs looking to get their products on QVC.
Spent a day last year at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore, Bronx, NY. A rewarding day//photographing children who are fighting cancer, with their families//for the wonderful Flashes of Hope organization.
Received this note from one of my production assistants. Priceless//
Often set-up in conference rooms//but sometimes hallways, back alleys, garages, you name it. The more control of light, the better. For this under-the-radar shoot, an Italian restaurant worked fine.
Helped my favorite breakfast/lunch joint George's Place with their submission video.... well they got picked. When Ty shot his Food Network show "American Diner Revival" I asked him to give me 2 minutes. Super nice guy- thanks Ty!
On set today.fun shoot//

Always great to see actor, model, storyteller James McGuire. Here with a print from our 'Father McGuire' portrait series.
Last night... Lake Carmel, Putnam County, NY
Thanks to those who came, stopped by, said hello at my recent exhibit. I appreciate the support. Hugs to those who purchased a print. Below are a few designs considered for the postcard. #4 won out... Delilah Dagger at 33rd Annual Miss Fire Island Contest.
Special thanks to Dawn Willis (Curator of Studio Around the Corner) who is a unique treasure in the Putnam County art scene. While taking down this weekend she said it was a success, that she heard many positive comments, me too. I'm choosing to believe Dawn lol.
The exhibit featured a mix of old and new works... it made me look backwards, and forward. Rewarding on many levels. I'm excited and rejuvenated. Have a great week. -Chris
